I think it is safe to say that, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, more commonly known as Kate Middleton was not on our radars from a fashion perspective a year ago. However, since the Royal wedding, she has been very much a star of the lime light and is beginning to acquire more and more of a cult following. Sometimes, taking a look at how her style of fashion changes can give you an idea of what is going to be the next big thing; she is an excellent icon to base your fashion choices around.
Recently Kate Middleton attended the premier of Steven Spielberg’s new film, Warhorse. As with most premiers such as this, people use them to find out what certain celebrities are wearing as they make their way up the red carpet. The beautiful 30 year-old stunned the crowed as she championed a stylish number from a well-known designer range. This luxurious piece combined a classic v-neck design with a chic black long-sleeved lace gown. With the perfect balance gained between glam and sophistication, this dress stole the show. Since then, many people have been spending time online and discussing the dress. There may be the chance it will be featured in one of the celebrity fashion magazines.
Combined with the perfect balance of accessories, the outfit that Kate Middleton was wearing to the premier was sublime. If you are looking for a dress for a dinner or for a more formal event, she is definitely someone worth keeping an eye on. Due to the nature of the events that she tends, you are able to assume that her wardrobe would predominantly consist of these types of dresses, hence why she wore something of such a high calibre to the premier. Of course she will have a selection of party dresses and cocktail dresses but you may find that we do not see these as often as these would be worn to private parties and functions which we may not necessarily get to see.
